Championship of the world of cyclo-cross
The championship of the world of cyclo-cross is disputed every year since 1950.
In 1950 the first winner was Jean Robic.
From 1967, two championships of the world of cyclo-cross are run: one reserved with the professionals, the other with ex-independent reclassified the amateurs.
The Cyclo-cross was often the business of specialists who prepared for the season of winter. These runners had multiple successes, one can quote in the order:
