Championship of the world junior of hockey 2007
The championship of the world junior of Hockey 2007 was held with Mora and Leksand in Sweden of the December 26th 2006 with the January 5th 2007. The skating rinks in which the matches proceeded were: FM Mattsson Arena (Mora) and Ejendals Arena (Leksand).
Outstanding facts
The Sweden was the host of the tournament for the fifth time of its history. The back issues took place in 1979, 1984, 1993 and 2000. At the time of the first day of competition, the Germany beat the the United States with the account of 2-1 in prolongation and the Bielorussia triumphed over the Finland by the mark over 4-3. Sergei Kostitsyn obtained 2 points including 1 goal in numerical disadvantage and Mikhail Stefanovich obtained 3 points including 2 goals.
