The Championnat of Switzerland of cycling on road exists since 1892.

Characteristics of the organization

the championship of Switzerland was organized every year of 1892 with today except for five editions of the beginning of the century into 1901,1903,1905,1906 and 1907.
In addition, it is it should be noted that it had been organized with addition of points on several tests of 1968 to 1973.

Some particular editions:

of 1974 to 1986: organized with Germany and Luxembourg,
of 1987 to 1994: organized with Germany and Liechtenstein.
