Championship of Scotland of football

The Championnat of Scotland of football is called Scottish First League .

This championship gathers 12 teams which dispute each one 38 matches. Each club meets 3 times in SPL at least. Indeed, the championship is divided into two at the evening of the 33e day. Thus the 6 better teams play the top of the table and only once clash in these play off . The same applies to the 6 other clubs in play down . At the end of the season, the team which adds up lowest number of points is relegated in First Division , the second level of Scottish football.

This championship does not appear any more among most prestigious in the world, but the Old Firm , famous derby opposing the Celtic Glasgow and the Glasgow Rangers remains a shock of foreground. The two eternal rivals add up 92 titles with them two, 51 titles for Rangers and 41 for Celtic.
