Championship of Russia of hockey
The Superliga is the first division of the professional league of Hockey in Russia. She is often regarded as the best championship of Hockey, after LNH.
Superliga constitutes only part of the professional league of Hockey in Russia, which is made up of two divisions, the second being the Vysshaya Liga.
History
The origins of Superliga goes up with old the Soviet Ligue founded in 1946. The Soviet era saw the domination of CSKA Moscow, affiliated with the Red Army, which gained 32 of the 46 titles.
The Soviet league stops with the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. After having received several different denominations, the league was finally renamed Superliga in 1996.
