Championship of France of solutions

The Championnat of France of solutions of problems of failures is organized every year by AFCE within the framework of RIFACE.

This championship consists in solving ten problems in two hours. The distribution of the problems to be solved is wholesale the following one:

Two chechmates in 2 blows
Two chechmates in 3 blows
a multicoups (chechmate in 4 blows and more)
a study
Two helped chechmates
Two chechmates opposite
a fairy-like Problem

This championship does not use the formula of the Championnat of the world of solutions (eighteen problems in six rounds) and comprises only one round for the ten problems. This formula retained by the AFCE with the advantage of being accessible to greatest number the, since a solutionnist can choose to spend the two hours on the same problem.

At one time, the choice of this formula did not allow the taking into account of this championship in the calculation of the classification of the solutionnists. Maintaining that is possible, on the condition of changing the number of problems to twelve.
