Championship of France of football USFSA
The Championnat of France of football USFSA is a French competition of Football which was disputed each year between 1894 and 1914 then in 1919.
The competition is initiated by Parisian clubs and remains the prerogative of the clubs of the capital of 1894 with 1899. On this date, USFSA decides to open the competition with the first provincial clubs. The Parisian ones refuse and declare fixed price in 1899.
This championship initially proceeds in the form of competition with direct elimination in 1894 and 1895. The formula championship is adopted starting from 1896. With the opening to the provincial clubs, the competition finds its formula with direct elimination. It then puts at the catches the various regional champions.
