Championship of France of football D2 1938-39

The Championnat of France of football D2 1938-1939 takes again the formula of single hen of division 2 with 23 clubs. At the conclusion of this championship, the attribution of the championship of the second division will be allotted to the Red Star Paris which reaches in the first division in company of its dolphin, the Stade of Rennes. With regard to relegations, the last two clubs at the conclusion of the championship are the FC Dieppe and the US Tourcoing, which thus kill in regional division amateur. Because of the second world war, the championship of the second division will be suspended and will begin again only for the season 1945-1946.
