For the season 2006-2007, the French clubs of female Rugby are divided into three national divisions, whose two first are played XV:
- the First Division gathers 22 teams divided into three hens (2 of 81 one of seven) (Signal 6).
- the Second Division was to gather 23 clubs (a hen of 8, two hens of 7), but there will be only 19 because of the general fixed price of four clubs.
- the Third Division comprises two distinct championships, one to 7, the other to 12. It is the second who qualifies possibly four teams for the Second Division.

First Division 2006-2007
The 24 teams are divided on two levels: a hen has or “Signal 8” made up of eight
teams and two hens B (B1 and B2) made up of twice eight teams, meetings
dispute in matches “to go” and “return”.
Composition of Signal 6
The first 6 teams of hen 1 of the last championship + the classified team first of hen 2 + the winner of the Challenge Armelle Auclair.
Composition of the Hens B
Teams classified of 2nd in the 8th place of old hen 2 minus the winner of the Challenge Armelle Auclair + teams classified 7th and 8th of old hen 1 + 8 teams qualified for the 1/4 of Finales of the 2nd division. At the conclusion of the hen matches, the two teams classified 7th and 8th of Signal 8 “go down” out of hens B.
Format
14 matches return ticket. The classified teams from 1 to 4 of Signal 8 are qualified for the 1/2 finales and finale.
At the end of the month of September 2006, the players of Bordeaux Etudiants Club (Signal 8) left the club and engaged with the Stage Of Bordeaux (the 2nd Division), involving the fixed price of the club. In October, the club of Bruges-Blanquefort also declared fixed price. Signal 8 becomes thus Signal 6. Néamoins, Bruges-Banquefort and the Stage of Bordeaux are authorized to set out again in the Second Division (Hen 2, to see below).
Hen 1 (1D-A or Signal 8 )
Armelle-Auclair challenge
Since 2004, this competition puts at the catches the teams of the second level of the First Division. For 2006-07, the classified teams from 1 to 4 of the B1 hens and B2 will be qualified for the 1/4 of finales, 1/2 finales and finale.
This challenge holds its name of French a player, fired with Saint-Orens, international with 9 recoveries, accidentally died at the 30 years age, in 2002.
Second Division 2006-2007
At the conclusion of the hen phase, clubs classified 1st and 2nd of each hen, as well as the two best third are qualified for the quarterfinals. The two finalists go up in the First Division, the two last go down in the Third Division.
Composition
Four clubs declared a fixed price general little before the resumption of the championship: Castrate and hen 2 Saint-Yrieix, hen 3 Eymeux and Beaune. Bruges-Banquefort and the Stage of Bordeaux, fixed prices in the First Division, is authorized to set out again in Hen 2 of the Second Division. However, by a decision of February 25th, 2005, the Fédération prohibits to them to take part in the final stages of end of season.
