The championship of France of Rugby to XV of the first division 1950 - 51 is disputed by 48 teams grouped in eight hens of six. Twenty-four teams are qualified to dispute a second qualificative phase which includes/understands eight hens of three clubs. The first of each hen are qualified to dispute quarterfinals.

The two teams are with equality (9-9) at the end of the prescribed time. They mark a test each one in prolongation but only Aué de Carmaux makes a success of the transformation, which gives the victory to US Carmaux.
