Championship of France Amateurs 2

The Championnat of France Amateurs 2 is a French competition of Football which is the equivalent of a division 5 behind the Ligue 1, the Ligue 2, the National and CFA. Formerly called " Main road 3" of 1993 with 1997 when there were 8 groups of 14 clubs.

The competition

August 1st The championship of France Amateurs is composed of eight groups of 16 teams, that is to say 128 on the whole. The teams (amateurs or reserves) best classified in each group are promoted in CFA. To the level of relegation, the last three of each group are relegated on the lower floor, DH.

The championship of CFA2 gathers on average 200 to 400 spectators per match. This average is affected negatively by the very thin multitudes recorded at the time of the matches in residence of the reserves of the professional teams.

18 clubs in the group E

The FFF was forced of repécher two clubs following a decision of the administrative court of Bordeaux. This last had required, five days before the opening of the season, to make rejouer the match of stoppings relating to Bergerac… In material impossibility to make rejouer so the meeting close to the beginning of the season, the FFF decided to integrate Bergerac and Mounts-D' But-Azergues Groups E of them.
