The eighth championship of Europe of Hockey took place of the 7 to the March 11th 1923 with Antwerp in Belgium.
Context and unfolding
Five nations disputed the championship of Europe of hockey. It is the first participation of the France which then gains its first medal (money) while finishing behind the Sweden. Sweden gains its second gold medal after its first title in 1921.
