Championship of Europe of female football 2001
It is about the 8th edition of the Championnat of Europe of female football which is held every four years and is organized by UEFA (association gathering the national federations of Football of Europe).
This edition, organized by the England between the June 23rd with the July 7th 2001, was disputed by eight nations. All the teams had to dispute qualifications to take share with the final stage, final stage organized in Germany.
The Germany, holding of the title, preserves its trophy finally by being essential 1-0 against the Sweden. It is about the fifth title of Germany in this competition.
