Championship of Alagoas of football
The championship of Alagoas (in Portuguese: Campeonato Alagoano ) is a competition Brésil ienne of Football organized by the Fédération of Alagoas of football and being held in State of Alagoas. It is one of the 27 championships of the Brazilian States, it was created in 1927.
Organization
The championship is divided into two phases: the copa Maceió and the copa Alagoas.

First phase: Tournaments where the teams clash each one in matches return ticket twice.
- Second phase: eliminatory Série disputing in matches return ticket enters the first four clubs of the first phase.
- Third phase (if necessary): eliminatory Série return ticket enters the winners of the first and second phase.
If a team gains the first two phases, she is crowned champion. If it is not the case, the third phase determines the champion. The club most badly placed first phase is relegated in the second division and does not take part in Copa Alagoas. As for the other championships of Brazilian State, the rules are likely to be modified with each beginning of the season.
