Championship NCAA of American football 2006
The Championnat NCAA of American football 2006 begins the August 31st 2006 and is completed the January 8th 2007. The national final will be held with Glendale (Arizona).

Payment
Several modifications of the payment for this season 2006. Principal the modifications are:- the players will have only to carry transparent visères.
- the tee of the kicking will be from now on of one inch against two before.
- the rest at the half-time lasts 20 minutes.
- On a kickoff, the clock will start from now on at the time of the kick and either at the time of the reception as it was the case before.
- the referee will not stop any more the play for excessive noise of the public.
Shocks of the season
Bowl Championship Series
The finale of championship BCS takes place the January 8th 2007 between the two best teams of NCAA. Gators of Florida gain the championship 2006. For the first time however, the match acting as finale is not directly included in the series of the bowls. The principle of rotation over four years, between the four great sites of the university finales of American football, is preserved. A site (Glendale this season) will thus be entitled to two posters in end season.
Among the other major teams of this season, Arkansas beats Wisconsin by 17-14 and gains the Capital One Bowl, Auburn beats Nebraska by 17-14 for the Bowl Knitting machine.
