Championnet Sports is a club of Basket-ball French based with Paris, now disappeared with regard to its part elite . It was about a section of the general sports Club Championnet Sports.
The club is especially known for its good services in the Championnat of France of basketball as from the years 1940, by counting in its center several players of reputations
History
In 1891 are born Championnet works within the parish Holy-Genevieve from the Great Careers . Their various activities push them to create a multi-sporting entity, thus is born Championnet Sports , in 1907. It is necessary all the same to await 1914 to see the first match of Basket-ball. Little by little the club develops before becoming Champion of France in 1945. The section will not be able, on the other hand, not to follow the evolution of the basketball towards professionalism, and falls down quickly in anonymity.
Currently
At the dawn of season 2007/2008, team 1 prepares to dispute the Parisian championship of Excellence Departmental. While team 2 prepares for the championship of Parisian Departmental Honor.
