Champhol

Champhol is a common French, located in the department of Eure-et-Loir and the area Center.

Geography

The modern C-W communication cham pH ol is not in conformity with the etymology. It would be necessary to write field fol , pH resulting from the Greek letter phi which cannot apply to a purely Latin étymon. fol , probably of Latin foglia , sheet, thus Fains-the-Madness, more in the south.

The commune manages the airfield of Chartres.
