Tourist monuments and places

  • the castle of Aunoy dates from the 18th century, it is registered on the additional list of the historic buildings. This medieval castle was rebuilt (without wood for its structure) following a fire at the 18th century. Ben Bella was interned there following the diversion of its plane during the Guerre of Algeria.

Religious heritage

  • Collegial Saint Martin's day de Champeaux 11th-13th. One of the largest churches of Ile-de-France, the last remains of a community created by holy Fare (Abbey of Faremoutier) since the parish church was destroyed with the Revolution and the other religious buildings still upright became dwellings. It contains in particular stalls and tomb stones.
  • the Vault Notre-Dame de Roiblay. It is already mentioned a priory at this place at the 12th century and a pilgrimage took place there of 13th at the beginning of the 20th century. The current vault was built in 1803 and the place was attached to Champeaux in 1822. The commune of Saint-Méry organizes a festival there.
