Champdieu
Champdieu is a common French, located in the department of the the Loire and the area the Rhone-Alps.
Geography
Champdieu is located in the Massif Central, has 40 km of St-Etienne. Champdieu almost entirely has a habitat blotti with the confluences of small valleys resulting from the " Mountains of Soir" , in edge of the plain of Drill, offering all at the same time low grounds and a crown of beautiful wooded hills. A diversity which makes its charm.
History
The village of Champdieu can be enorgueillir of a last rich person. The History of Champdieu starts around the Year Millet, when a group of monks come from the abbey of Manglieu to Auvergne, founds the priory of Champdieu. they built a perfectly preserved church and conventual buildings there. The centuries passed, the village grew bigger, east is girded of a wall during the war of Hundred-Years, the Rebirth left some traces, and is to us quasi intact parvenu today.
