Champcueil
Champcueil is a common department of the the Essonne, in the area Île-de-France, in France. Its inhabitants are the champcueillois .
Geography
Champcueil (in the past “ Chancolia ”) is composed of a principal village, as well as hamlets of Loutteville and Beauvais.This common belongs to the historical area French Gâtinais (left francilienne the Gâtinais), of which it marks one of the borders, as well as Regional natural park of French Gâtinais. It is bordering with the Hurepoix and the Beauce.
The Forêt departmental of Large Avaux represents a rather great part of its territory, which includes also an elevated plate. The Aqueduct of the Valve and the Loing crosses its grounds.

What impresses besides more, it is the disproportionate size of this building compared to the village which counts only 2500 inhabitants. The origin of this church remains hypothetical besides, because Champcueil was not a place of pilgrimage at the time medieval. Thus why such a building?
