Champanges is a Commune Frenchwoman located in the department of the Haute-Savoie and the area the Rhone-Alps. The commune is localized in Pays of Gavot, in the French Chablais.

The commune of Champanges is located at 7km in the Western South of Évian-the-Baths and at 6km in the East of Thonon-the-Baths.

Champangeoises and Champangeois In local patois, the inhabitants are called the " meujrougues" (dubious orthography), nickname meaning " eaters of horse mort" , given the inhabitants found eating an unearthed horse, following an episode of famine….
