Champaign is a city of the the United States, located in the county of Champaign and the State of the Illinois.

As opposed to what could let think the homonymy between the city and the county, Champaign is not Siège of the county: this one is indeed fixed in the city close to Urbana.

The two cities, however, constitute a common surface lmétropolitaine: Champaign-Urbana.
