Champagne Of Saint-Gall

Champagne Of Saint-Gall is a common champagne mark gathering since 1966 twelve co-operatives of production in a Union Champagne, located with Avize, representative 1  860 vine growers.

Their producers produce on more than one thousand of hectares, classified " Large cru" (Avize, Cramant, Oger, Mesnil on Oger, Ambonnay, Bouzy and Aÿ) and " First cru" (Virtues, Shepherdesses the Virtues, Cumières) on the scale of the Champagne vintages. Their grounds represent more half of the soils of the Côte of the White, planted in Chardonnay and some other soils of four wine villages of the Montagne de Reims.

The Union produces each year around 10 million bottles, in its four kilometers of cellars cut in chalk. Part of its production is sold under name " Champagne De Saint-Gall" , another is yielded to its members who resell the bottles under their own brand. However the production of wine being important, in fact, 60% of the total of its production is sold at houses of trades in the form of clear wines, ready to be assembled.
