The Chamber of commerce and of industry of Paris (CCIP) is the chamber of commerce and of industry of the departments of Paris (France), of the Hauts-de-Seine, the Seine-Saint-Denis and the the Valley-of-Marne.

History

Heiress of the old Chambers of commerce of the Old Mode, it was created in 1803 by Napoleon Bonaparte, then First Consul. It is most important chamber of commerce and of industry of France and one of largest in Europe. It is made up of four delegations, one by department.

Its head office is located at 27, avenue de Friedland in the VIII {{E}} district of Paris.

In 1960, it becomes the " Chamber of commerce and of Industrie".

The CCIP

Delegations and Antennas

The Room has 4 delegations with Paris, Nanterre, Bobigny, Creteil and 2 antennas with Boulogne-Billancourt and Antony.

Mission

The missions of the CCIP are:
  • To represent the interests of the companies near the public authorities;

  • To accompany the companies with each stage by their development;

  • To train the collaborators and the future leaders which the companies need;

  • To develop the fairs, living rooms and congress with the service of the companies and the attractivity of the area-capital.

Budget and Organization

The budget of the CCIP as of the others CCI comes from the surcharge to the Professional tax (IATP), from clean products and the Taxe of training.

Its current president is Pierre Simon. He is assisted of 80 heads of undertaking, elected in the four districts. On the 80 elected officials, 38 represent the services, 20 industry and the 22 trade.

Activities

The CCIP has international a Formalités department and Services with the companies (DFISE) which informs, advises and accompanies the actors by the international business, exporters and importers, in the achievement of their operations: Certificate of origin, formations with the techniques of the international business, drafting in line of notebook ATA, etc

It also manages the Center of mediation and arbitration of Paris.

Schools

The CCIP manages also many schools of professional training and higher and trains each year, in its 12 schools, 14.000 young people including 4.000 apprentices.

These schools known as public consular prepare with more than 150 trades of the CAPE to the Doctorate. They are composed of:
