Chamber of commerce and of industry of Cherbourg-Cotentin
The Chamber of commerce and of industry of Cherbourg-Cotentin is one of both CCI department of the Manche. Its seat is with Cherbourg-Octeville, in the Atlantic Hotel, vestige of the transatlantic time on the boulevard Felix Amiot. Its president is Jean-Claude Camus.
For this reason, it is an organism in charge to represent the interests of the business enterprises, industrial and of service of arronidssement of Cherbourg and to bring certain services to them. It is a public corporation which manages moreover equipment with the profit of these companies.
Like all the CCI, it is placed under the double supervision of the Ministère of Industry and the Ministry for SME, the trade and the craft industry.
It belongs to the Regional court of trade and industry of Basse-Normandie.

History
The Chamber of commerce of Cherbourg and Valognes was founded on December 15th, 1836, by the king Louis-Philippe.
