Chamber of commerce and of industry of Bordeaux

The Chamber of commerce and of industry of Bordeaux is one of both CCI department of the Gironde. Its seat is with Bordeaux with 12, place de la Bourse. It is one of oldest of France.

It has 3 delegations with Test-with-Buch, Blaye and Langon.

For this reason, it is an organism in charge to represent the interests of the business enterprises, industrial and of service of the district of Bordeaux and to bring certain services to them. It is a public corporation which manages moreover equipment with the profit of these companies. It represents the 11.600 business enterprises, industrial and of services of the department.

Like all the CCI, it is placed under the double supervision of the Ministère of Industry and the Ministry for SME, the Trade and the Craft industry.

It belongs to the Regional court of trade and industry of Aquitaine.

Competences

  • Support of the creation and the resumption of company;

  • Dynamization of the trade;
  • Action near the companies;
  • Information (letters, Internet sites, studies and observatories);
  • Support for international (missions, clubs, participations in the living rooms).

  • National college of business.
  • Interprofessional and Consular Grouping of Teaching and Formation (GICFO).
  • Consular Institute of Part-time course (ICFA).
  • Institute of Sales promotion (IPC) commercial specialists in two fields: Wood and derived - Wines and Spirits.
  • Institute of Design and Installation of Commercial spaces (IDAE) secialists of the visual communication for the business enterprises.
  • Institute To undertake (IPE) revival projects or of creation of company.

History

  • 1705 : Creation of the Chamber of commerce of the province of Guyenne.

  • 1742 : The intendant Tourny establishes the Chamber of commerce on the Royale place.
  • 1802 : Restoration by Napoleon Bonaparte of the Chambers of commerce and industry.
  • 1873 : Creation of the National college of business, called today Bordeaux school of management.
  • 1921 : Creation of the Port authority of Bordeaux.
  • 1931 : The CCIB becomes manager of the airport of Bordeaux-Mérignac.
  • 2007 : End of the management of Bordeaux-Merignac.
