Chamber of commerce and of industry of Bayonne Basque Country

The chamber of commerce and of industry of Bayonne Basque Country is one of both CCI department of the Yrénées-Atlantiques, the second being the Chamber of commerce and of industry Pau Béarn. Its seat is with Bayonne to the 50, Marine Allées.

It has an antenna with Mauléon.

For this reason, it is an organism in charge to represent the interests of the business enterprises, industrial and of service of the west of the department of the Yrénées-Atlantiques and to bring certain services to them; it is an administrative public corporation which manages moreover equipment with the profit of these companies.

Like all the CCI, it is placed under the double supervision of the Ministère of Industry and the Ministry for SME, the Trade and the Craft industry.

It belongs to the Regional court of trade and industry of Aquitaine.

Environment: the technological Center of the multisector environment (CETEM) created in 1995 by CCI help the companies to take into account the environment

History

The Chamber of commerce of Bayonne was founded in 1726.

Its territory was consisted the whole of the department of the Yrénées-Atlantiques until 1947, date on which is created the Chamber of commerce and of industry of Pau.
