Chamber of commerce and of industry of Amiens

The chamber of commerce and of industry of Amiens is one of the three CCI of the Somme. Its seat is located at Amiens with 6, boulevard de Belfort.

For this reason, it is an organism in charge to represent the interests of the business enterprises, industrial and of service of the districts of Amiens and Montdidier and to bring certain services to them. It is a public corporation which manages moreover equipment with the profit of these companies.

Like all the CCI, it is placed under the double supervision of the Ministère of Industry and the Ministry for SME, the Trade and the Craft industry.

It belongs to Regional court of trade and industry of Picardy.

History

Towards 1600: " Consuls of Ville" (Consular Company), charged to manage the local economic situation.

Royal stop of August 6th 1761: : Creation of the Chamber of commerce of Amiens

The Constituent Assembly issued by the law of September 27th, 1791 the disappearance of all the Chambers of commerce.

To mitigate the economic difficulties, various organizations are reflected in place in Amiens: 1793: " Committee of the 21 for the encouragement of Arts and Industrie" 1794: " Office of commerce" , created by the Committee of Public Hello Then the " The Council of Argriculture, Arts and Commerce" , made up 5 Meadow Year IX.

1980: The Amiens-Glisy aerodrome is made operational.

1981: The CCI settle in its new Consular Hotel - 6 bd de Belfort.

1992: Opening of the school of engineers ESIEE-Amiens

1993: Fusions: Interfor with the Industrial society of Amiens (INTERFOR-SIA) and the SAP with Real Lesueur which become the SIP (Picardy Real estate company).
