Chalcidique
The Chalcidique (in Greek Χαλκιδική , old Khalkidikḗ , modern Khalkidhikí ) is the name of the peninsula of the Macedonia, in Greece, located between the Golfe Thermaïque and the mouth of the Strymon, which finishes in three smaller peninsulas: Cassandre, Sithonie and Athos.
It was Colonisé E by Chalcis at eighth century BC
The Greeks name this area “the secret paradise of Greece”.
Moreover, Chalcidique is one of the seven name Greek area of Macedonia-Power station, having for chief town the town of Polygyros.
