Chak
- Of the Bangladesh (area of the " Chittagong Hill Leaflets "), where they are 5.500 (2002);
- Of Burma (Chain of Arakan), where they are 25.000.
Under Bangladesh, term of the peace agreement of December 2nd, 1997 which put an end to more than 20 years of conflict between the government bangladeshi and the populations indigenous S of the " Chittagong Hill Leaflets, Chak will be represented with the " Chittagong Hill Regional Leaflets Council" who will be in charge of the administration of the 3 districts constituting the area.
The language chak is classified in no known family.
