Military definition

A chain pyrotechnique' in the military field is composed of an ignition system, from a system of transfers from the Feu and finally from an explosive load .

The simple chain pyrotechnics is composed of four elements:

  • a lighter called: lighter of slow wick (blaster)

  • a wick (slow wick) which transmits the fire generated by the blaster towards,

  • a pyrotechnical detonator (deto pyro) which explodes and transmits by contact the detonation to,

  • a principal load.
