Chahé Barsoumian

Chahé Barsoumian is a Politician Lebanon board of origin Arménie.

Member of the party Dashnak ( Tachnag ), it is named in 1991 orthodoxe Armenian appointed of the Metn and will be re-elected at this station in 1992. He will be also Minister of Industry and the Pétrole in 1992 (cabinet of Rachid Solh), minister of state between 1992 and 1994, then delegated to the social Affairs and Handicapés between 1994 and 1995 (substitute Elie Hobeika). He will be of return to the ministry for Industry and Oil between 1995 and 1998, dealing particularly with Oil between 1996 and 1998 (with Nadim Salem delegated to Industry). It is for its passage to the ministry for Oil that it will be famous. In 1999, a legal procedure against him will be launched, showing it of corruption and favoritism in the adjudications of oil contracts. It will purge a 11 months sorrow of prison, then will be released in bond. A parliamentary board of inquiry will discharge it during the autumn 2005.
