Chafic Wazzan

Chafic Wazzan was the former Prime Minister for the Lebanon under the presidency of Elias Sarkis (1980-1982) and of Amine Gemayel (1980 - 1984). He escapes in 1991 from an attempted murder from the car bomb from Beirut.

Former deputy, appears sunnite moderate, it does not profit from an important popular base. He withdrew himself from the political life in the years 1980 and is deceased in 1999 at 74 years.
