Chablais of Vaud
The Chablais of Vaud is an area which belongs to the Chablais and which is in the Canton of Vaud, on Right Bank of the the Rhone. It is one of the four viticultural areas of the canton.
The area stretches Villeneuve (beginning of the Riviera of Vaud) in north to the commune of Lavey-Morcles in the south. It is delimited in the west by the course of the Rhone, in the east by the limits of the District of Eagle, in north by the Lac Léman and in the south by the border with the Canton of Were worth.
The other Swiss part of Chablais is the Valaisan Chablais.
Viticultural area
The vineyards of Chablais are stock S fixed on the slope and dominated by forests and rock masses which separate them from the alpine zone.Chablais of Vaud, they is 800 Hectare S of vineyards on Right Bank of the the Rhone. Their exposure offers a maximum of sunning to them, thwarting the effect of shade of the mountainous peaks of the morning at the evening.

the wines of Villeneuve are characterized, with the nose, by a pretty bouquet rather virile fruity-soil of character. Their flavors point out slate and flint, associated with a subtle odor of flower of vine.
- the wines of Aigle are elegant and delicate, a fruity-floral nose, impregnated of a argilo-gravelly soil. Their flavors evoke the fruits with pips and the burned stone.
