Chōryaku era

The era Chōryaku (in Japanese: 長暦) is one of the eras of Japan (年号, nengō, literally “the name of the year”) according to the era Chōgen and preceding the era Chōkyū extending from the 1037 to the 1040. The reigning emperor was Go-Suzaku - tennō (後朱雀天皇).
