Chénéville
Chénéville is a Canadian Municipalité Quebec in the regional Municipalité of county of Papineau and in the administrative area of the Outaouais. It is named in the honor of Hercules Chéné, former mayor of the city.

Municipal chronology
- 1903 : The municipality of the village of Chénéville is made up following its detachment of the municipality of the plain cantons of Hartwell-and-Preston.
- 1920: The municipality of canton of Suffolk-Part-West is detached from the municipality of the cantons plain from Suffolk-and-Addington.
- 1923 : Suffolk-Part-west changes its name for municipality of Vinoy .
- 1996 : Fusion between Chénéville and Vinoy to form the municipality of Chénéville
