Chécy

Chécy is a common French, located in the department of the Loiret and the area Center.

It is also the name of a cheese: Chécy (cheese)

Geography

The city is located at ten kilometer in the east of Orleans on Right Bank of the the Loire. Its inhabitants are called cacians .

History

Old village vine grower, Jeanne d' Arc crosses it on April 29th 1429 before joining Orleans
