Chèvrerie (Haute-Savoie)
Chèvrerie is a French Ski station, located at Bellevaux (Haute-Savoie), on the territory of Small valley, created in 1987 in colloboration with the station of Large Terche (Saint-Jean-with Aulps) to make a junction between these two station. The junction is called the Roc of Hell.
Today the station has a small junction, used mainly for the beginners and the small ones, who joined the departure of the great junction (Rock of Hell).
Origin of the name
Chèvrerie was formerly a village where one raised Chèvre S with the Chartreux, for the manufacture of the Fromage of this animal.In January 2007, the station and the junction celebrated their 20 years, organized by an association of the valley.
