Châtenay is a common French, located in the department of Saône-et-Loire and the area Burgundy.

Geography

History

The commune was founded in 1875 by taking part of its territory on the communes of Gibles and St Racho. It brought together 454 inhabitants then and had two schools, two coffees, two grocers and one cartwright-marshal-shoeing.
