Châtas

Châtas is a common French, located in the department of the the Vosges and the area Lorraine.

Geography

History

Châtas formed part, until 1793, of the Principauté of Salm.

Inheritance

  • There exists, to a few hundred meters of the village, one fears gone up out of stones dry and probably dating from the 16th century.
This fears was " modifièe" during the war of 1914-18 and currently ruin threatens.
