Châlonvillars

Châlonvillars is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Saône and the area Franche-Comté.

Geography

The Canal of the Haute-Saône, built between 1882 and brought into service in 1926 crosses the territory of the village in particular through a 640 meters long tunnel. The lock, located near the bridge on the road of Evette-Salbert is still in perfect state. The house of the lockkeeper remained mainly in his country of origin.
