Ceti alpha
Alpha Ceti (α This/α Ceti) is a star in the Constellation of the Baleine. It is also called by its traditional name, Menkab or Menrak . Its name is derived from the Arab word manxar , meaning “nostril” (whale).
Menrak is an old dying star, which already for a long time exceeded the stages of combustion of Hydrogène then of Oxygène. Menkar is currently a Géante red. It will become finally unstable before to have lost its layers of external Gaz to form a Nébuleuse planet gear, leaving a white Naine relatively large.
