Cesare Maniago

Cesare Maniago (born the January 13rd 1939 with Trail in Colombia-British with the Canada) is old a professional goalkeeper.

Career

He starts while playing in the Association of hockey of Ontario, today Ontario Hockey League in 1957 while playing for the St Michael' S Majors de Toronto. Thereafter, he plays its first match in the National league of hockey for the Maple Leafs of Toronto in 1960. He plays then in various leagues ( Western Hockey League , American Ligue of hockey) before rejouer in the LNH two seasons later for about fifteen matches with the Canadian of Montreal.

The expansion 1967 of the LNH will enable him to find time of play whereas he had played little for two years with the Rangers of New York. He becomes the guard number one of the news frankness, the North Stars of Minnesota. Two seasons later, Gump Worsley arrives within the team and they will share the matches of the team equitably.

He leaves the team at the end of 1975-76 to join for his two last seasons the Canucks of Vancouver.

One finds it as an assistant trainer of Canucks in 1988.
