Certificate of studies of visual arts

The Certificat of studies of visual arts ( CEAP ) is delivered by the schools of art, at the conclusion of the second year, with the pupils having obtained 8 units of value at least. It does not constitute a diploma and is thus not likely to be approved. II is appropriate to specify that the students admitted in the schools of art must be titular baccalaureat and have made a success of the entrance examination. However, in exceptional circumstances, certain not-graduates can also be accepted, under condition of following lesson of correction during the first year. Moreover, the passage in second year is subordinated to the success of an examination of end of first year.

The course of the schools of art under supervision of the Ministère of the Culture successively leads the students to the national Diplôme of visual arts (DNAP) after three years of studies, then with the higher national Diplôme of plastic expression (DNSEP), after 5 years. These two diplomas are respectively approved at the levels III and II and are obtained after the passage of examinations.
