Cerque
The cerques correspond to certain appendices located at the end of the Abdomen of the insect and which can play a part in the accouplement.
The cerques or cercodes are most of the time three (two at the Diploure S).
Some transitory S lost to them cercode central, which left room to the genital apparatus which appears at the time of the passage at the stage Imago .
The word comes from the old Greek kerkos , tail.
The cerques have a fundamental role in the floating of the dry flies used by the fishing with the fly .
