Cerisy

Cerisy is a common French, located in the department of the Somme and the area Picardy.

Geography

Cerisy is a small village of the High Sum located at the east of Amiens and 12 km of Albert (Somme), in the center of a triangle formed by the towns of Corbie, Bray-on-Nap and of Villers-Bretonneux. The close villages are Morcourt, Chipilly, Sailly-Laurette, Hamel and Lamotte-Warfusée.

Cerisy-Gailly becomes Cerisy on January 1st, 1966.

The church Saint Georges is classified historic building. The bell-tower and the nave date from the XIII ème century, the external walls and the side doors date from the XVI ème century, and the gate of 1977.
