Centrifugal acceleration

The acceleration centrifuges is the centrifugal component (literally " who flees the center") acceleration of a body. It is thus about the acceleration of a material Point, projected on the Vecteur position since a given center, and directed in the direction which flees this center.

For a material point whose position is located since the origin by a vector \ vec {R} , the Norme of centrifugal acceleration to the value \ ddot {\ vec {R}} \ cdot \ vec {e_r} : projection of the acceleration (second temporal derivative of the position \ vec {R} ) projected on the axis of \ vec {R} .
