Central management of the judicial police

In France, the Central management of the judicial police (DCPJ) is a direction of the head office of the national police force attached to the Ministère of the interior.

Competences

On the geographical level, the DCPJ is qualified on the whole of the territory main road except for Paris and of the Petite crown.

On the legal level, its competences are fixed par. Ainsi, “it has the role, on a purely principal basis, the prevention and the repression of the specialized, organized or transnational forms of the delinquency and criminality”.

Structures

Central management is made up of:

Three central processing units

  • the staff
  • the unit of the operational projects
  • the division of the international relations

Four subdirectorates

  • the subdirectorate of the organized fight against criminality and financial delinquency
  • the subdirectorate anti-terrorist
  • the subdirectorate of the technical and scientific police force
  • the subdirectorate of the resources and the studies

Under Direction of the Organized Fight against criminality and the Financial Delinquency is divided into three poles: it pole of coordination, the analysis and the operational supports. it pole of the fight against the financial déliquance and the protection of the inheritance. it pole of the fight against crime organized and violences with the people.

This Under Direction is directed by an General inspector, is assisted by two General inspectors and a Police chief.

The central director of the judicial police is Martine Monteil.
