Central face
The central face is a military unit Soviet, which existed at two periods, during the Second world war. It was created for the first time, on July 24th 1941, starting from the right wing of the western Front, i.e. the 3rd army Soviet and the staff of the dissolved 4 {{E}}. It undergoes heavy losses, following its surrounding with Chernigov, and was then dissolves, on August 25th 1941.
It was recreated, on February 15th 1943, starting from the staff and of the units of the Front of the Gift, transferred in the area from Koursk, after the redition of the 6th German army, with which armies were associated coming from the general reserves of the Stavka. October 20th 1943, it was famous face of Bielorussia , then on February 17th 1944, First face Belorusse , following the creation of the second and third Belorusse faces. It was with the point of the Soviet offensives of the end of the war, and finished this one, by its participation in the catch of Berlin. Post-war period, on June 10th 1945, the face east dissolves, but its staff, is used as framework for the creation of the Groupe of Soviet forces in Germany.
