Central consonant
In Articulatory phonetics, a central consonant , or by preoccupation with a concision a central is a Consonne whose Mode of articulation requires for its realization the air flow by the center of the Bouche above the language.

- the voiced alveolar fricative Consonant Z
- the alveolar nasal Occlusive consonant voiced N
